the major wars of the last century from a unique perspective, focusing on the numbers they leave behind. Specifically, the project explores the number of casualties caused by each war.
Navigation through the website is facilitated
by a timeline, where users can explore different wars and view the corresponding numbers of casualties. However, behind the numbers lies a deeper layer of content, allowing users to read, experience, and see the human stories behind the dry statistics. At the end of the timeline, the total number of casualties from the last century is displayed, serving as a sobering reminder of the human cost of war.
